About the position
The Product Strategist at ZipRecruiter plays a crucial role in supporting Enterprise sales teams throughout the client lifecycle. This position focuses on enhancing client retention, winning new deals, and accelerating sales revenue growth by acting as a strategic partner. The role involves engaging with clients to understand their needs, leading technical discovery, and developing data-driven strategies to meet client challenges.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with assigned Enterprise sales teams as a strategic partner throughout the client lifecycle.
- Conduct technical and complex discovery to understand customer needs and challenges.
- Lead the design of deal strategy, pricing, and proposals.
- Analyze industry and performance data to develop data-driven client narratives.
- Share insights and recommendations with internal teams including marketing, product, operations, finance, and sales.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in a client-facing role with Fortune 1000 companies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to educate and persuade at all levels.
- Expert problem-solving skills backed by innate curiosity.
- Adept at writing documentation and presenting strategy to non-technical team members.
- Data-driven mindset to help customers understand performance metrics.
- Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.
- Strong project management skills and strategic thinking.
- Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to feedback in a rapidly changing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Google G Suite and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).
