As a Sales Engineer for Circuit Protection & Control (CP&C), you will lead sales pursuits for circuit protection and control products in the southern California territory. Your role will involve establishing and maintaining a documented sales plan using SieSales (Salesforce CRM platform) to cultivate a healthy sales pipeline through the development of new opportunities, sales lead follow-up, and managing an existing customer base. You will cultivate long-term relationships with key account decision-makers and develop a complete understanding of the customer's organizational structure and key buying influences. You will arrange and lead customer meetings, conducting mid-level technical product demonstrations and formal presentations to small groups. Your analytical skills will be essential in providing market pricing to distributors and customers within your designated territory. Additionally, you will assist in delivering technical product training seminars and workshops for end customers, managing the sales process to close new business, including negotiation and overcoming customer objections.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales pursuit for circuit protection and control products in the southern CA territory.

  • Manage existing customer base and cultivate long-term relationships with key account decision makers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical sales experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Circuit Protection and Control products and their applications.
  • 3+ years of experience with electrical power distribution methods and schematics.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is strongly desired, although directly related work experience will also be considered.
  • 3+ years successful track record working with Electrical Distribution.
  • 3+ years knowledge of electrical power distribution methods and schematics.
