About the position

The Sales Engineer, Internal Sales at LINAK is responsible for establishing new customer relationships and increasing sales volume. This role involves qualifying new leads, managing small customer accounts, and responding to inquiries from potential customers. The position also includes collaboration with the marketing department on campaigns and may require travel for tradeshows and product training.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing new customers and increasing sales volume.
  • Qualifying new leads.
  • Executing new marketing focus campaigns with the Marketing Department.
  • Responding to inquiries from potential customers.
  • Managing and establishing pricing and providing commercial support for small customers.
  • Traveling as it pertains to tradeshows and product training at LINAK A/S.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology is preferred.
  • Two to four years of application engineering experience or sales engineering experience is preferred.
  • Motion control industry experience (electric/pneumatic/hydraulic) is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Professional appearance and the ability to speak comfortably in new situations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is a must.
