About the position

As a Sales Engineer at Intercom, you will play a crucial role in leading technical discussions with key prospects, ensuring they maximize the value of Intercom's solutions. This position focuses on pre-sales activities, where you will collaborate with customers and partners to drive onboarding, enhance user adoption, and improve retention. Your work will primarily target the LATAM region, particularly Brazil, requiring fluency in both Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales representatives to demonstrate value and drive deals functionally and technically.
  • Lead the discovery process to uncover a prospect's business objectives and challenges.
  • Deliver configured presentations and demos focused on business requirements.
  • Guide and complete Trials and Proof of Concepts in tandem with the Sales team.
  • Coach customers on Intercom usage and best practices to enhance their expertise.
  • Understand and validate technical requirements including security evaluations and integrations.
  • Lead internal teams on projects and training.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.
  • 5+ years in the Computer Industry.
  • 3+ years of Sales Engineering or Solution Consulting experience in a SaaS organization.
  • Experience delivering demonstrations in a sales environment.
  • Strategic thinking to overcome technical and security roadblocks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve challenging issues with prospects.
  • Experience with coding/scripting and data integration, especially RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborative mindset with global teams.
  • Proven track record of creating innovative ideas to increase customer retention and product adoption.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Intercom is a plus.
  • Ability to speak Spanish would be an advantage.
