About the position

The position involves visiting and managing existing key accounts throughout Michigan and Indiana, as well as developing new customer targets in the territory to achieve annual growth goals. The role requires traveling throughout the region, with about 5-10 days of overnight travel per month. Additionally, the candidate will work with Market Managers to develop strategies towards key industries.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer facing role - direct technical sales or application engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in lubricants, chemicals, mechanical equipment sales, or key account development is a plus.
  • Knowledge of oil and grease for machinery is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to balance travel and follow-up tasks.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and negotiate effectively.
  • Open-minded towards unique solutions and willing to develop new relationships.
