About the position

The Sales Engineer - Nutanix at Arrow Electronics is responsible for consulting, developing, and implementing technical sales enablement plans to support revenue and margin goals. This role involves providing pre-sales technical support, conducting training for partners and sales teams, and maintaining knowledge of industry standards and new technologies. The position requires a proactive self-starter who can work independently and deliver quality work under tight schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Consult, develop and implement technical and related sales enablement plans with partners and internal/external customers.
  • Provide Pre-Sales Technical Support, complex sales tool configurations, and systems design to implement systems software solutions and/or products.
  • Conduct partner and sales technical team training.
  • Assist Arrow customers and partners with technical certifications or product/technology demonstrations.
  • Obtain training and maintain knowledge of industry standards, new technologies, and current issues.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with presales engineering and partner/customer solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and with stakeholders.
  • Highly professional, with the ability to deliver quality work on tight schedules.
  • Self-starter who is motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a loosely structured organization.
  • Experience delivering, presenting, selling, supporting Enterprise Clients - working or competitive knowledge of Nutanix.
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies & Hybrid Cloud Technologies: AWS, GCS, Microsoft Azure, Dell VxRail, Nutanix, HPE dHCI, etc.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective using existing solutions.
