About the position

The Sales Engineer - Power Generation position at CTR Group involves facilitating the sales process by promoting the company's power systems products to potential and existing customers. The role includes providing application engineering support, leading training sessions for sales representatives, and gathering market feedback for product development. This fully remote position requires up to 50% travel across North America, primarily from a home office.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the company's power systems products to potential and existing customers.
  • Provide application engineering support to customers and group personnel.
  • Lead training sessions, product presentations, and seminars for sales representatives and customers.
  • Participate in industry functions to enhance company visibility and product knowledge.
  • Gather detailed market feedback for product development and sales collateral.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an application engineer in power systems or five years in a related field.
  • Experience with gensets, automatic voltage regulators, and/or control systems is required.
  • Familiarity with Power Generation, Paralleling Switchgear, Utility T&D, or Industrial Power markets is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for essential duties.
