About the position

The Sales Engineer (PreSales) at Jitterbit plays a crucial role in driving business growth by building strategic relationships with enterprise customers and prospects. This position involves acting as a trusted advisor and product subject matter expert, focusing on understanding customer needs and presenting tailored Jitterbit solutions. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and the ability to leverage integration best practices to facilitate customer decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise Account Executives to architect and provide a comprehensive integration strategy for customers, partners, and prospects.
  • Become the trusted advisor for customers during their digital transformation.
  • Develop deep product expertise and demonstrate how the Jitterbit Harmony platform addresses customer challenges.
  • Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to articulate the value propositions of Jitterbit.
  • Serve as the platform evangelist at user conferences, webinars, and other marketing events.
  • Apply sales methodologies to enhance the likelihood of securing customer business.
  • Utilize technical discovery methodologies to identify technical fit for the sales team.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to enhance products based on customer feedback.
  • Provide direction and feedback on customer needs to product development.
  • Mentor junior sales engineers and create maintainable content such as presentations and demos.

Requirements

  • Computer Science degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of technical experience in the integration space.
  • Presales experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional presentation skills for engaging with customers and internal stakeholders, including creating and delivering customized demos to various executive levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience working with integration products or APIs in languages such as Java, C#, Python, etc.
  • Proficiency in applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, NetSuite, and BMC is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of APIs (RESTful and SOAP).
  • Experience with tools like Postman and SoapUI.
