About the position

The Sales Engineer position at Trane Technologies is designed for recent graduates who are eager to engage in a comprehensive training program that prepares them for a career in technical sales. This role involves selling innovative climate solutions and requires a blend of engineering knowledge, communication skills, and relationship-building abilities. The position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with commercial customers, engineers, architects, and contractors to provide tailored solutions for their HVAC needs.

Responsibilities

  • Sell efficient heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers in the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services.
  • Participate in the Trane Technologies Graduate Training Program (GTP) to gain intensive technical, business, sales, and leadership training.
  • Assume responsibilities as an Associate Account Manager focused on Systems, Services, or Controls after completing the training program.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering (open to all engineering areas of emphasis).
  • Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months and provide proof of insurance.
