About the position

The Sales Engineer position at Leybold involves working closely with industrial clients to enhance their process efficiencies through vacuum technology. This role serves as the primary customer-facing liaison, providing technical support and solutions tailored to client needs. The position requires a mix of remote work and on-site visits to advanced factories, promoting Leybold's products and services while educating clients on vacuum technology advancements.

Responsibilities

• Promote company products by designing and proposing equipment upgrade solutions to an assigned account base within a geographic region.
• Develop and implement a vision and method to expand business in a geographical region, including current clients and new opportunities.
• Provide outstanding technical support and product selection assistance to customers.
• Attend trade shows, seminars, and training sessions to stay informed of trends affecting customers and competitive products.
• Maintain company property, including a company car, computer, and customer demo products.

Requirements

• Engineering/science degree or technical equivalent.
• Experience in an on-site customer-facing role.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and communicate technical information effectively.
• Ability to create custom solutions for specific process needs.
