As a product solution specialist, the Sales Engineer will engage with some of the largest companies in the industry, gaining exposure to leading service assurance, packet flow switching, and security technologies. The role involves positioning NETSCOUT's security and service assurance product set to meet customer needs effectively. In this role, significant interaction and consultation with customers are essential, making a solid understanding of the sales cycle crucial. The Sales Engineer will collaborate closely with Account Managers to uncover and develop new business opportunities and relationships for NETSCOUT Systems. Reporting to the Sales Engineering Manager, the Sales Engineer will work within a close-knit team of experienced Sales Engineers and Account Managers, fostering a collaborative environment focused on success. Key responsibilities include conducting sales presentations and demonstrations, enabling partners technically, detailing product features and value propositions, responding to RFPs, managing customer technical evaluations, and providing feedback to product management. The Sales Engineer will also lead technical discussions at workshops and tradeshows, architect deployment solutions, perform product implementations, and conduct technical training for customers and partners. Additionally, the role requires troubleshooting product issues, managing technical relationships, and maintaining up-to-date account information in the CRM system. The Sales Engineer will also engage in social events with customers, research market trends, and develop relationships within key accounts, all while adhering to company policies and ethical guidelines.
