About the position

Wealth Access is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Nashville, TN. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our technical solutions and the needs of our clients. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology and has a strong understanding of the financial technology sector. You will work closely with our sales and product teams to demonstrate the value of our solutions, ensuring that potential clients fully understand the benefits and capabilities of our products. In this role, you will be responsible for pre-sales support, providing technical expertise, engaging with clients, designing solutions, and offering post-sales support. You will collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and tailor product demonstrations and presentations accordingly. Your technical knowledge will be essential in addressing and resolving client questions and concerns, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our solutions. Additionally, you will engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and technical requirements, assisting in the creation of proposals and technical documentation. As part of the product team, you will design and recommend solutions that meet client needs and align with best practices. You will also provide ongoing support during the implementation phase to ensure smooth deployment and integration of our SaaS solutions. Your role will be pivotal in gathering client feedback to support product improvements and enhancements, ultimately contributing to the success of Wealth Access and its clients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and tailor product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Conduct in-depth technical presentations and demonstrations of our SaaS solutions to potential clients, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Develop and deliver customized product presentations and demonstrations that address specific client requirements.
  • Provide expert-level knowledge of our solutions, including features, functionalities, and integration capabilities.
  • Address and resolve technical questions and concerns from clients, ensuring a clear understanding of our solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements to effectively position our products against competitors.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions that align with their objectives and provide value.
  • Assist in the creation of proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation.
  • Work with the product team to design and recommend solutions that meet client needs and align with best practices.
  • Participate in scoping and planning sessions to ensure successful implementation and integration of our solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support during the implementation phase to ensure smooth deployment and integration of the SaaS solution.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise post-sale.
  • Gather feedback from clients to support product improvements and enhancements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer or Technical Account Manager role within the SaaS or financial technology sector, with specific knowledge of wealth and/or bank technology.
  • Proficiency in SaaS applications, wealth management platforms, brokerages, banks and trusts.
  • Deep understanding of not only our product but that of our many channel partners.
  • Familiarity with APIs, data security, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
