About the position

As a Sales Engineer at Rise Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and sales of our market-leading organization across the West Coast. This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, complemented by an uncapped commission structure that allows for total earnings potential between $150,000 and $200,000 or more. You will be responsible for managing existing accounts while also seeking new business development opportunities within the food manufacturing and commercial catering equipment sectors. This role is designed for a motivated individual who is eager to enhance their career in a dynamic and rewarding environment. In this remote role, you will be expected to travel extensively, with 60-75% of your time spent visiting client sites across the West Coast. This travel is fully expensed, allowing you to focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the food and beverage industry. You will receive comprehensive training on the company's cutting-edge equipment, enabling you to provide tailored solutions to clients. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients and engineering teams to design custom equipment and automated machinery that meets specific client needs. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Sales Engineer with experience in food/beverage manufacturing, commercial catering equipment, or similar capital equipment
  • Effective sales skills in both account management and new business development
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
