About the position

Power Protection Products, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the position of application sales engineer for our Little Rock, Memphis, and Nashville markets. This role combines the technical and problem-solving skills of an engineer with the sales ability and desire for customer satisfaction. Our sales engineers utilize their technical background and knowledge of our portfolio of products to provide solutions to solve our customers' power quality needs. As a sales engineer, you will be working with equipment suppliers, consultants, and facility managers to provide and support power quality solutions for critical facilities and industrial manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with existing accounts through networking, vendor coordination, and follow up.
• Provide quotations, technical documentation, and technical assistance.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Visit with accounts within territory.
• Promote new products and new solutions to meet the customer's needs.

Requirements

• Experience with electrical designs and electrical distribution.
• Degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
• Established relationships with existing customers.
• Experience developing presentations and sales quotes and the ability to explain technical concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to independently manage time effectively and perform quality work.
