The Sales Engineer position is a critical role located at our manufacturing facilities in Racine, WI or Lufkin, TX. Under the guidance of the North American Sales Manager, the Sales Engineer will play a vital role in the development and execution of sales strategies and objectives for various Twin Disc product lines. This position is not only about selling; it involves a deep understanding of customer requirements and the application of Twin Disc products to meet those needs effectively. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for evaluating customer requirements and ensuring that each application of our products is successful and exceeds customer expectations. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and strong communication skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external customers. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, preferably with a degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical, or other Engineering Technology programs, along with a minimum of five years of experience in sales and engineering. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems like Salesforce, and ERP systems is essential, as is familiarity with 3D modeling software such as Solidworks. In addition to technical skills, the Sales Engineer must possess strong communication abilities, enabling them to engage with all levels of internal and external organizations. They should be adept at listening to customer needs and utilizing available resources to address those needs effectively. The role also involves reporting on sales activity and market data, requiring excellent written and presentation skills. Knowledge of Twin Disc Industrial Products and an understanding of our global competitors will be advantageous in this position.
