About the position

The Sales Executive (Commercial Lines) at Lovitt & Touché is responsible for negotiating, selling, and managing relationships with both new and existing clients. This role emphasizes a sales-focused approach rather than day-to-day service, with a strong emphasis on fiscal responsibility for insurance accounts. The Sales Executive will engage with the community to connect with prospective clients and work collaboratively with internal teams to meet client needs and production standards.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate, sell, and manage relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Engage in community and business situations to connect with prospective clients.
  • Identify partnership opportunities with prospective clients for their insurance needs.
  • Collaborate with internal Account Executives and support teams to market new accounts.
  • Retain existing accounts while meeting new account production standards annually.
  • Manage account receivables and oversee the collection of necessary information for renewals.
  • Stay current on insurance coverages of existing accounts to maintain credibility and provide technical support.
  • Establish a regular schedule for client visits to review coverages and contracts.
  • Conduct business in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Attend onsite and offsite client meetings as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of insurance experience or ability to learn and validate salary within 3 years.
  • Licensed in Arizona Property/Casualty.
  • Ability to network and create sales leads.
  • Ability to influence and close prospecting opportunities.
  • Proven track record of being self-motivated and a self-starter.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret quotes and plan designs.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external parties.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with carriers, peers, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves

  • Dual License in Arizona Life, Health and Disability.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience using EPIC.
  • Continuing education such as CIC, CRM, ARM, CISR, or CPCU.
