About the position

As a Sales Executive at AssuredPartners, you will leverage your sales skills and the company's resources to build relationships and deliver exceptional risk solutions to clients. This role is critical in helping businesses and individuals protect what matters most while driving personal and company growth. Responsibilities

  • Set and achieve new business goals.
  • Utilize Sales Tools to identify, target, and prospect new business, creating a new business sales pipeline.
  • Manage the new business sales pipeline and follow up on leads and prospects to ensure new business goals are met and all opportunities are recorded in CRM, Salesforce.com.
  • Work with local, regional, and national internal teams to identify cross-sell opportunities and utilize multi-disciplinary resources to maximize results.
  • Attend community events, work personal networks, and participate in activities that drive new business sales goals.
  • Stay current on license and education requirements.
  • Attend internal and external trainings to keep up-to-date on insurance market trends, local laws, and new/changed coverages.
  • Travel as needed.

Requirements

  • Must hold appropriate and valid insurance licenses and driver's licenses.
  • 3+ years of insurance sales experience.
  • Thorough understanding of insurance underwriting and rating procedures.
  • Self-starter with good communication skills and strong sales skills.
  • Competitive, persistent, and self-reliant with high energy and sales drive.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in specific industries such as agriculture, senior living, aerospace, transportation, or technology.
