About the position

The position involves selling the company's products and services by developing new clients and expanding the client base to enhance profits within the Core Sales, Human Resource Services Sales, or Major Market Sales organizations. The role focuses on understanding customer needs and effectively presenting solutions to key stakeholders, while also managing relationships with existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customers' needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources to secure referrals to end users.
  • Prospect for new clients and referral sources using various methods such as telephone, direct mail, seminars, and current client visits.
  • Analyze customer needs and interests to determine appropriate products and refer to the appropriate party when necessary.
  • Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports by deadlines set by Sales management.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems or complaints.
  • Project a positive image in representing the Corporation to clients and the community.
  • May be required to travel outside of geographical territory for conferences, training sessions, and/or area Zone meetings.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 2 years of experience in relevant sales/marketing experience.
