About the position

The Sales Executive in the Tax & Accounting Professionals Tax Workflow segment at Thomson Reuters is responsible for retaining and expanding the existing account base while acquiring new accounts within their designated geographic area. This virtual role requires strong communication skills and business acumen to conduct thorough needs analyses and tailor presentations to meet client needs, ultimately driving sales and achieving monthly targets.

Responsibilities

  • Retain and grow existing account base and acquire new accounts.
  • Attain sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basis.
  • Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to customers.
  • Obtain and provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetration.
  • Assist in customer-related issues to maintain good customer relations.
  • Complete weekly sales performance reports and CRM reporting in a timely manner.
  • Drive strategic initiatives supported by the assigned account team to drive growth in the territory.
  • Leverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years successful SaaS sales experience in an Account Executive role.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) sales.
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Continuous learner with a positive attitude and flexibility.
  • Collaborative team player with high integrity and understanding of sales ethics.
