About the position

The Sales Executive in the Tax & Accounting Professionals Tax Workflow segment at Thomson Reuters is responsible for retaining and expanding the existing account base while acquiring new accounts within their designated geographic area. This virtual role requires strong communication skills and business acumen to conduct thorough needs analyses and tailor presentations to meet client needs, ultimately justifying proposals through ROI to shorten the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Attain sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basis
  • Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to the customer
  • Obtain and provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetration
  • Confer with and assist in customer-related issues as needed to maintain good customer relations
  • Complete weekly sales performance reports and CRM reporting in a timely and accurate manner
  • Drive strategic initiatives supported by assigned account team to drive growth in assigned territory
  • Leverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years successful SaaS sales experience in an Account Executive role
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Software as a Service Sales (SaaS) experience
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite and CRM (such as Salesforce preferred)
  • Continuous learner, flexible and open-minded, positive attitude
  • Collaborative, team player
  • High level of integrity and understanding of sales ethics
