About the position

The Sales Experience Specialist at Louisiana-Pacific Corporation plays a crucial role in supporting regional sales and marketing activities. This position involves managing rebate programs, invoicing, and enhancing customer experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The specialist will also oversee complex assignments that contribute to the growth of the business and increase sales, directly supporting the field sales and marketing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support for Field Sales, National Accounts, Retail, Marketing, and all levels of sales & marketing management.
  • Administer rebate programs for all LP sales and business marketing programs, ensuring adherence to company rules and regulations.
  • Process and track rebates through SalesForce and SAP, measuring and analyzing customer rebates.
  • Review pricing and rebate issues for accuracy and uniformity.
  • Train users on basic SalesForce skills and manage user set-up and reports.
  • Coordinate corporate events, mill tours, and customer events, including site selection, vendor negotiation, and budget management.
  • Design collateral for sales meetings, customer events, and trade shows, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
  • Focus on customer experience and serve as a primary contact for sales to ensure satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with employees from other departments and sales regions to ensure project execution and develop strong working relationships.
  • Manage regional sales budgets and process invoices/payments through Ariba and SAP.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in a sales and marketing environment or equivalent education and experience.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Good analytical, quantitative, and financial skills.
  • Knowledge of the sales process and LP product lines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Cvent, SAP, Ariba, and SalesForce.
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in all MS Office products.
