This field-based role is critical in evaluating, assessing, and pricing risks while leading profitable growth for our agency partners in the Eastern Washington territory. The position is fully remote for those serving territories away from our headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. The starting pay for this position ranges from $90,000 to $152,000 annually, with a competitive compensation package based on education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance. As a field territory underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting, which includes analyzing risks, pricing, negotiating, and making informed decisions on commercial business. You will also be involved in selling and soliciting business across all available business units within the territory to build strong, diverse agency relationships. Additionally, you will lead the territory in strategic plan development, ownership, and execution of enterprise-wide growth and profit, including new agency appointments. Building deep relationships with assigned agencies is crucial to delivering on our vision of being the best company serving independent agents. You will provide leadership by partnering with and leading other field disciplines within designated agency relationships to ensure their success through communication, support, and collaboration with team members. Staying updated on industry trends, market conditions, emerging risks, and primary competitors is essential for making informed decisions.
