About the position

As a Sales Finance Manager at Ferrero USA, you will oversee the Cookies business, collaborating with Sales, Trade Marketing, and Revenue Growth Management teams to drive company objectives. Your role will focus on managing trade spending and customer profitability, leading budget and forecast planning, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimize trade spend and promotional effectiveness, while also supporting cross-functional initiatives and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Control and analyze trade spending and customer profitability, providing insights and concise reporting to senior management.
  • Lead budget and forecast planning process for trade spending.
  • Provide the latest estimate and ad hoc projections of trade spending.
  • Revise and approve promotion funds to ensure consistency with budgets and plans.
  • Lead the monthly close process on trade promotion, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems, collaborating with the broader finance team.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the commercial team in making business decisions.
  • Support the organization on new initiatives, building analytical models for evaluating financial impacts of new product routes to market.
  • Drive harmonization of integrated businesses, including systems and trade spend parameters.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, supporting the development of new financial tools and systems.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in sales finance in CPG (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency using financial software (SAP/other major ERP), reporting tools (TPM, HFM, Essbase), and BI Tools (Power BI, BW).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience working with data across multiple systems.
  • Knowledge of financial and management accounting and experience in P&L management.
  • Knowledge of key retail customers, trade promotion strategies and practices.
  • Cross-functional experience and comfort level in presenting insights to all levels of a matrixed organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
