About the position

The YMCA of Delaware is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to ensure our Salesforce platform is tailored to meet the unique needs of our organization. This role involves managing user access, maintaining data integrity, and creating reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to align the platform with our business goals and ensure it supports daily operations. Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and maintain user accounts, roles, profiles, and permissions to ensure appropriate access levels.
  • Monitor data quality, perform data cleansing, import/export data, and manage duplicate records.
  • Customize page layouts, create custom fields, and modify object settings to tailor Salesforce to specific business requirements.
  • Define sharing rules, organization-wide defaults (OWDs), and security controls to protect sensitive data.
  • Design and implement workflows, process builder, and flows to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Create custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide user training on Salesforce features and functionality, troubleshoot issues, and answer user questions.
  • Monitor system performance, manage updates and upgrades, and implement new Salesforce features.
  • Work with various departments to understand business needs and translate them into Salesforce configurations.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionality and features
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Three-years' experience with at least 2 years proven demonstrated experience managing Salesforce environments in a complex business setting
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration, including custom fields, page layouts, and validation rules
  • Knowledge of industry-specific Salesforce features and best practices
  • Knowledge of data management practices, including data cleansing and import/export processes
  • Ability to design and implement automation solutions using workflows, process builder, and flows
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders and end-users
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot system issues and identify areas for improvement
  • Basic understanding of coding or scripting languages

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with change management processes to effectively roll out Salesforce updates
  • Experience with other software packages that integrate with Salesforce including DocuSign, Formstack, Conga Composer and ShareFile
