About the position

The Marketing Cloud Developer at Capgemini will oversee and leverage their understanding of business requirements to deliver high-quality technical solutions that empower the Marketing teams to utilize the Marketing Cloud automation platform. This role involves assisting the email and channel marketing team in building custom queries, email templates, script-based dynamic templates, automation jobs, and comprehensive customer 1:1 journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and leverage understanding of business requirements to deliver technical solutions.
  • Assist email and channel marketing teams with building custom queries and email templates.
  • Develop script-based dynamic templates and automation jobs.
  • Build out comprehensive customer 1:1 journeys using Marketing Cloud.
  • Support Marketing Cloud Connector setup and integration with Salesforce and other applications.
  • Monitor email deliverability and reporting, including IP warming.
  • Utilize Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Journey Builder effectively.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Salesforce Technologies.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Marketing Cloud administrator and/or developer.
  • Experience in Marketing Cloud Connector setup and integration.
  • Proficient in Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Journey Builder.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in querying Data Extensions and writing SQL Query activities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Marketing Cloud Consultant.
  • Familiarity with building email templates and content using Content Builder.
  • Experience with AMPScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, JSON, XML, MQ, HTTP, REST, and JavaScript.
