About the position

The Salesforce Developer - Service Cloud position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing business application solutions within Andersen Corporation. This role involves working on high complexity assignments that may range from department-level applications to enterprise-wide solutions. The developer will lead small teams and will be involved in an OMS Refactor Project, ensuring that business requirements are met through effective technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Independently work closely with business customers to understand, define, and document business requirements, functional requirements, and design requirements for high complexity assignments.
• Consult with Product Owners, Account Managers, and IT Architects during the design phase of high complexity projects to leverage technology and provide implementation recommendations and accurate estimates.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and document high complexity assignments.
• Coordinate and assist with the deployment of applications into the production environment.
• Complete comprehensive unit, system, and performance testing of applications, including components and interfaces, and assist less experienced Software Engineers in test plan development, execution, and validation.
• Participate in defining and adhering to design, development, and testing methods and techniques that meet corporate IT standards, including conducting code reviews of team members' work.
• Adhere to Agile practices and other PMO or Team project methodologies.
• Independently estimate the design, development, testing, and deployment of high complexity assignments and meet estimated delivery times.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business customers, project leaders, Architects, and account managers.
• Support other Software Engineers on technical issues and assist with their development efforts.
• Research and develop skills in new technologies.
• Develop and provide end-user training and application support.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Salesforce Development experience.
• Proficient in Apex, Flow Builder, Aura Components, JavaScript, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coach and mentor other Salesforce developers.
• Experience with Agile Software Development practices.
• Familiarity with deployment tools (e.g., Gearset) and source control tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub).
