About the position

Empire Technological Group Ltd is seeking a Sales Forecast Analyst to support the sales team by providing accurate sales forecasts and analyses. The role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure timely and accurate forecasting, maintaining data integrity, and preparing reports to assist in strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Supports Account Managers in completing sound sales forecasts on a year-round basis.
• Analyzes trends, seasonality, and establishes weekly forecasts per market area.
• Establishes forecast planning schedules and ensures the Sales team's adherence to timelines.
• Ensures accuracy of forecasts in the planning system.
• Ensures item and customer data maintenance through regular audits.
• Teams with Inventory and Production teams to ensure material is ordered within lead time to meet customer orders.
• Provides updated forecasts in weekly SIOP planning meetings with Procurement, Inventory, and Production leads for review.
• Prepares weekly corporate sales reports.
• Prepares ad hoc plan vs. actual analyses.
• Other duties as requested and/or assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or operational management.
• MBA is preferred.
• Analytical sales operations or accounting/financial analysis experience.
• Experience with Sales Force, MS Excel at an advanced level, and other planning tools.
• Strong planning, organizing, and project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage ever-changing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-departmentally in an even-keeled manner.
