About the position

The Sales Interior Designer at Roche Bobois is responsible for welcoming and assisting customers in the showroom, presenting the company's furniture collections, and ensuring a high level of customer service. This role involves using design software for project presentations, managing factory purchases, and coordinating with customer service to resolve any issues. The designer will also be involved in merchandising and marketing efforts within the showroom.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers in the showroom.
• Learn and present Roche Bobois collections to clients.
• Apply Roche Bobois policies and provide key information for sales.
• Utilize 3D software tools for project presentations.
• Follow up with leads professionally.
• Attend house calls when required.
• Place purchase orders to factories and manage follow-ups.
• Provide updates to clients regarding their orders.
• Coordinate with customer service to resolve customer issues.
• Maintain a service-oriented approach and follow up on service requests.
• Update store tagging for prices and promotions.
• Assist in showroom setup according to corporate policies.
• Report store improvement needs to the store manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in furniture sales (required).
• 1 year of experience in furniture design (preferred).
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Motivation to work in a sales environment.
• Interest in the furniture business.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, and 20/20 software is a plus.
