About the position
The Sales Intern position with Post Consumer Brands offers a 12-week immersive internship experience focused on the Kroger Sales Team. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a consumer-centric organization, working on meaningful business problems and collaborating cross-functionally. The role emphasizes learning, data analysis, and providing insights to support the sales team, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of making delicious food accessible for all.
Responsibilities
- Observe and learn about sales processes and strategies.
- Gather data and conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Design, maintain, and update ongoing tracking reports and tools for the Sales department.
- Collaborate with Sales and Category Management to analyze variances and trends.
- Assist in the development of presentations and analytics for Operations Leadership.
- Prepare internal Business Reviews capturing market and competitive trends.
- Analyze volume, pricing, promotion, and share trends using various data sources.
Requirements
- Pursuing a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Management with a graduation year of 2026.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- High level of competence in computer applications and technology as a decision-support tool.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous internship or work experience in a related field (strongly preferred).
- Interest in the consumer packaged goods/manufacturing industry with a desire to start a career with Post Consumer Brands after graduation (strongly preferred).
