About the position
The Kroger Sales Team Intern at Post Consumer Brands is a 12-week summer internship designed for students pursuing a degree in Business Management. This role focuses on providing hands-on experience in sales, data analysis, and reporting within a consumer-centric organization. Interns will collaborate with the Kroger Sales team to gather insights, conduct analysis, and contribute to business improvement initiatives, all while being immersed in a mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in sales reporting by designing, maintaining, and updating tracking reports and tools.
- Collaborate with Sales/Category Management to analyze variances and identify drivers.
- Provide thought leadership in cross-functional business discussions related to sales planning.
- Support Operations Leadership in analytics and presentation development.
- Prepare internal Business Reviews capturing current business and market trends.
- Assist in analyzing volume, pricing, promotion, and share trends using various information sources.
Requirements
- Pursuing a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Management with a graduation year of 2026.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- High level of competence in computer applications and technology as a decision-support tool.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous internship or work experience in a related field (strongly preferred).
- Interest in the consumer packaged goods/manufacturing industry with a desire to start a career with Post Consumer Brands after graduation (strongly preferred).
