About the position

Big Ass Interns are smart, genuinely curious, and full of innovative ideas. They're eager to learn the ins and outs of our business and understand why we do things the way we do. Our interns don't run errands - they're here to make a real impact at the company! As a BAF Sales Intern, you'll be an integral part of the Big Ass Fans Sales team where you'll assist the sales team build the sales funnel, creating awareness of new offerings, generating leads, and retaining customers. In your first week, you'll dive into an exciting project that you'll work on throughout your internship. At the end, you'll get to present your findings and recommendations to BAF executives. We'll provide a supportive, fast-paced environment focused on learning; you bring your attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and engage with Big Ass Fans products and services.
  • Work alongside sales management to gain hands-on experience in each aspect of the BAF sales process and learn sales techniques.
  • Assist sales team with order entry, customer contacts, marketing information, and other sales-related tasks.
  • Create and analyze sales reports to drive increased productivity and sales execution.
  • Work on increasingly challenging and engaging real-world sales projects.
  • Complete special projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Internship is located onsite (housing/relocation not provided)
  • Undergraduate students majoring in Business, Communications, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • Positive, professional, and outgoing personality with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Enthusiasm and desire to learn and be successful in business development and sales
  • Highly organized, self-starter that is punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite, and social media tools (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) software experience
