About the position

The Sales Lead at LOFT is responsible for providing exceptional client service while supporting the Store Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing store operations. This role includes acting as the Manager on Duty in their absence, ensuring compliance with company practices, and driving revenue through effective client engagement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client services and support the Store Manager and Co-Manager.
  • Operate as the Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager.
  • Perform operational and transactional functions, including handling client service issues and issuing approvals for desk transactions.
  • Open and close the store, including managing cash registers and bank deposits.
  • Drive revenue by managing the client experience and communicating store metrics to motivate associates.
  • Coach associates on client interactions and performance to maximize productivity.
  • Utilize reports to make effective merchandising decisions and maintain store standards.
  • Ensure optimal coverage and productivity in all areas of the store through appropriate scheduling.
  • Complete daily tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly and meets all company standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum six months Sales Associate experience with ANN INC. or equivalent experience with another retailer.
  • Part-time or full-time managerial experience preferred.
  • Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising standards and techniques.
