About the position

The Sales Lead is responsible for supporting management in fostering a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring that the company's values and principles guide all store operations. This role emphasizes creating a great customer experience while maximizing profitability, and it involves motivating the sales team, overseeing operational activities, and maintaining high standards in merchandise handling and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate clear expectations for the store team, holding them accountable for achieving brand and performance standards.
• Perform and oversee basic operational activities such as opening and closing duties, and merchandise flow processes.
• Supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, and customer services, ensuring proper floor coverage within fiscal guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, presenting and displaying merchandise accordingly.
• Develop a high-performance culture by motivating the sales team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
• Train and coach the selling team on product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a cohesive omni-channel experience for customers.
• Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and a fast register experience.
• Support and implement training programs for store associates, providing feedback for performance appraisals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
• Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
