The Sales Lead position is a pivotal role within our store, responsible for providing exceptional client services and operating as the Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager. This includes performing operational and transactional functions, handling client service issues, issuing approvals for desk transactions, and managing the opening and closing of the store. The Sales Lead will refer all duties requiring managerial experience and/or approval to the Store Manager, such as disciplinary actions, hiring, and terminating associates. In addition to the responsibilities of a Sales Associate, the Sales Lead will support the Store Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing the operational functioning of the store. This includes driving revenue by proactively managing the client experience, coaching associates on client interactions, and ensuring compliance with all ANN INC. practices and procedures. The Sales Lead will also utilize tools to create a client-focused team environment, drive volume, and anticipate clients' needs while communicating store metrics to motivate associates. The role requires a strong understanding of current market trends and the ability to represent the brand effectively in every client interaction.
