About the position

As a Sales Leader within PNC's Retail Banking organization, you will lead and coordinate the daily activities of team members focused on customer and prospect management. This role is pivotal in achieving business results, attracting new customers, and growing existing relationships through effective coaching and management. You will develop and oversee account and sales plans, manage risks, and enhance client experiences by leveraging PNC's full range of products and services. Additionally, you will be responsible for motivating and developing your team while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of team members engaged in customer and prospect management.
• Achieve business results by coaching and managing to defined strategies and tactics.
• Develop and oversee execution of account and sales plans.
• Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and existing clients.
• Identify and mitigate various types of risk, including regulatory and operational risks.
• Manage a network of senior internal and external relationships to acquire and expand client base.
• Leverage reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities.
• Develop team members and monitor progress against individual goals.
• Motivate and develop staff, including managing performance-based issues.
• Plan, organize, direct, analyze, and evaluate staff and processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 5 years of prior management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; higher education such as a Master's degree is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of account management, client prospecting, and customer relationships.
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and negotiate effectively.
