About the position

As a Sales Leader within PNC's Business Banking organization, you will be responsible for coaching and developing your team to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate risk while achieving business results and enhancing customer experience. This role involves leading a team in credit requests, motivating team members, and ensuring a best-in-class banking experience for customers in the St. Louis market.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct a team to achieve business results and customer experience goals.
  • Lead and coordinate daily activities of team members engaged in customer and/or prospect management activities.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of account and sales plans.
  • Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients.
  • Identify and mitigate different types of risk, such as regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks.
  • Manage effective networks of senior internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and expand existing ones.
  • Motivate and develop staff, including acquiring top talent and managing performance-based issues.
  • Coach team members on skills needed to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk.

Requirements

  • University/college degree required; higher education such as a Master's degree or PhD is desirable.
  • 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 5 years of prior management experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered.
