The Direct Sales Leader at Summit Business Group is a leadership role focused on outside sales, where the individual will lead by example and mentor new team members. Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and mentor new team members in sales techniques.
  • Manage a territory and build relationships with business owners and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct comprehensive training cycles for team members, both in-person and online.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Prospect new businesses and maintain a robust book of business through relationship development.
  • Collaborate with the sales team manager to achieve sales targets and quotas.
  • Balance cold lead generation with warm leads and existing client appointments.
  • Submit daily sales metrics and activity reports to track performance.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, preferably in customer-facing or outside sales roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive training cycles.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A genuine passion for assisting and empowering clients.
  • Health & Life general lines license, or the willingness to obtain it within 90 days.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant specialized outside sales experience.
  • Candidates within 6 months of degree completion will be considered.
