The Sales Learning Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating high-end training solutions aimed at implementing sales development interventions that streamline and maximize both business and human performance. This role requires the design of training solutions that adhere to industry best practices for course design and delivery. The designer will collaborate closely with business partners and leverage existing resources to gain a comprehensive understanding of business procedures and operations, which will inform the development of a wide range of training materials and performance support tools. In this position, the designer will create storyboards, scripts, course content, and sales force directions in various formats. A critical aspect of the role involves conducting post-instruction outcome evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to enhance the value provided to participants. The designer will also establish baseline delivery systems for training and employ appropriate technology to ensure effective and cost-efficient learning events. Monitoring participation and retention of staff in the managed curriculum and E-Learning courses is essential. The designer will develop soft skill and product-based curriculum for the sales force, along with post-training support mechanisms aimed at evaluating the success of the training designed or created. Additionally, the designer will identify organizational knowledge and skill gaps through focus groups, subject matter expert (SME) interviews, and classroom observations, ensuring that the training provided meets the needs of the organization.
