About the position

The e-Commerce Sales Manager at AutoNation Ford Burleson is responsible for leading a sales team to enhance customer experiences and drive sales performance. This role involves selecting, training, coaching, and developing e-Commerce Sales Associates while ensuring high levels of performance to increase market share and achieve sales targets. The Sales Manager will engage with customers, manage e-leads, and oversee the negotiation process, all while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Leading the sales team in alignment with AutoNation's Vision and Mission.
• Setting clear goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance in vehicle sales and profit.
• Engaging and motivating the team to meet performance expectations and best practices.
• Driving business operations through active involvement in daily activities.
• Ensuring timely handling of e-leads and assisting customers through their research phase.
• Transitioning customers effectively from online contact to in-store experience.
• Managing negotiations with Sales Associates to clarify vehicle purchase options and pricing.
• Appraising vehicles for trade.
• Managing customer traffic across Showroom, E-Commerce, and Phones.
• Partnering with management to plan and manage vehicle inventory.
• Assisting in managing expenses for the New and Used Vehicle Departments.
• Analyzing business performance and developing action plans for improvement.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proven success in eCommerce automotive sales.
• Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to drive an exceptional Customer experience.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver's license with a safe driving record.
