About the position

The Sales Manager-Business Connectivity is responsible for leading a team of sales consultants focused on acquiring new business customers and cross-selling services such as Business Fiber and 5G connections. This role involves formulating sales strategies, coaching team members, and directly engaging with customers to drive sales and enhance connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise assigned IB Consultants in selling AT&T's product set.
  • Formulate sales plans for the team and provide tactical input to leadership.
  • Collaborate in planning sales strategies and training the sales team.
  • Provide expertise and consultation to assist with complex customer problems.
  • Participate in important negotiations with customers.
  • Spend time in the field coaching and training the team during customer appointments.
  • Manage the work efforts of direct reports and influence hiring, firing, and performance appraisals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of outside sales, direct sales, or B2B sales experience.
  • Experience selling business telecommunications and/or technology solutions to mid-market or enterprise businesses.
  • At least 1+ year of leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
