About the position

The Sales Manager Business Development position at PrideStaff involves both inside and outside sales responsibilities, focusing on generating and maintaining client relationships. The role requires a dynamic individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and understands the complete sales process. This position is crucial for driving sales growth and achieving targets while representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, develop and maintain new and existing client relationships
  • Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales, gross margin, and profit targets
  • Maintain relationships at the critical decision-maker level with high potential accounts
  • Develop business contacts through active participation in business-oriented or community programs
  • Follow up, handle objections, build rapport, manage expectations to gain new business or retain repeat business and referrals
  • Conduct 10 appointment visits per week
  • Conduct 65-75 inside sales phone calls a week and/or 65-75 outside sales calls a week

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business, marketing, communication, etc. is preferred or equivalent experience in client relations, client service, marketing, or sales
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven inside and/or outside sales experience
  • Ability to present to all levels of a company
  • Exhibit zero fear of making inside sales phone calls and ability to represent the brand in any setting
  • Moderate to high energy to make several inside and outside calls
  • Organized planner who follows through on all details
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to respond to questions or complaints in a timely manner
  • Must be able to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Customer service driven with an outgoing personality
  • Ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgement according to company policies
