About the position

The Sales Manager for Catering and Retail at The Light House Bistro is responsible for driving revenue growth through effective management of retail sales and catering services. This role involves menu management, customer relations, event coordination, and community engagement, all aimed at enhancing the Bistro's market presence in Annapolis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and integration of retail sales and growth, both online and in stores.
  • Manage catering menu and customer relations, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate event needs including menu development, staffing, and vendor delivery timelines.
  • Serve as on-site coordinator during catered events to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor retail sales through the website and in stores, organizing orders and coordinating fulfillment.
  • Create and maintain a network of current and prospective customers through sales visits and inquiries.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the General Manager and Executive Chef to review customer feedback and prospective contracts.
  • Evaluate catering performance during events and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical sales or related field.
  • Valid Driver's License.
