About the position

The Sales Manager at Vestis Services will lead a mid-to-large team of sales representatives, focusing on driving profitable sales growth within an assigned territory. This role involves recruiting, developing, coaching, and supporting both new and existing sales representatives to ensure they meet performance guidelines and exceed sales quotas. The Sales Manager will collaborate with various teams to identify new account acquisition opportunities and build strong relationships to ensure overall sales success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a mid-to-large team of sales representatives to drive profitable sales growth.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and support new and existing sales representatives.
  • Work with the General Manager and corporate support team to evaluate and develop new account acquisition opportunities.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships to ensure sales success.
  • Support prospecting, setting appointments, and understanding the industries served.
  • Present the company's value proposition and exceed sales quotas.
  • Communicate updates, progress, challenges, and opportunities to executive leadership.
  • Monitor sales reports and communicate trends and market conditions to the Director and Vice President.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum two years of business-to-business outside sales experience focused on new account generation.
  • Minimum three years managing sales professionals using an account management approach.
  • Strong track record of accomplishments in managing sales professionals.
  • Professional presence and proficiency in consultative selling skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contact-management software such as Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel, including some overnight travel.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Successful completion of Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
