About the position

The Sales Manager for Customer Acquisition and Growth at Insights is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive customer acquisition strategies aimed at driving growth in the B2B learning and development marketplace. This role involves recruiting and leading a sales team focused on identifying new business opportunities, optimizing sales processes, and collaborating with marketing to enhance demand generation efforts. The position emphasizes team leadership, performance metrics, and the effective use of sales technology to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive customer acquisition strategies to drive growth.
  • Review market trends, customer behavior, and industry landscape to identify new business opportunities.
  • Define, implement, and optimize scalable sales processes.
  • Develop sales playbooks, training programs, and onboarding processes.
  • Monitor and review sales performance metrics.
  • Create a sales team to generate revenues and meet/exceed KPIs around customer acquisition.
  • Work in partnership with the marketing team to scale demand generation and lead generation capabilities.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the team, providing regular coaching and feedback.
  • Utilize and manage commonly used sales tech stack tools to optimize sales processes.

Requirements

  • Recent experience of having set up a sales team from the ground up.
  • Strong sales background and track record of delivering results.
  • Proven track record in scaling teams and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in modern sales tech stack tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Capability of managing, directing, and developing high performing teams in the global learning and development sector.
  • Strong operational management, interpreting data skills, influencing and negotiation skills.
