About the position

The Sales Manager for Film & TV Transportation at Quixote Studios is a vital role responsible for managing and expanding client relationships within the film and television transportation market. This position requires a deep understanding of the industry, the company's offerings, and the competitive landscape to effectively drive sales and meet client needs. The Sales Manager will collaborate with various teams to ensure service excellence and contribute to the overall sales strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in the film and TV transportation market.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all Quixote transportation equipment and services and present their value proposition to clients.
  • Close sales and maximize the number of Quixote units taken on each show.
  • Partner with other members of the transportation sales team and the TV/Film sales team to achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with transportation operations on unit service, maintenance, repair, and customizations to meet client needs.
  • Ensure all incoming calls from clients are answered with accurate and thorough information.
  • Engage with clients through location and set visits and industry events as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors' pricing, equipment features, and marketing strategies.
  • Work with management to assess Quixote's performance in the market and influence overall strategy.
  • Maintain rental schedule through Fleetmaster based on equipment availability and client needs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to keep the Quixote brand in front of customers.
  • Identify and understand changing customer needs and new opportunities within market segments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in sales related roles within the Film/TV transportation industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of transportation equipment (trailers, trucks, and generators).
  • Established network of transportation department crew members on Film/TV Productions.
  • Proficiency with FleetMaster (preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (required).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and adapt to changes in a high-volume environment.
  • Reliable, professional, and possess good judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule.
