About the position

The Sales Manager for Technical Products at Abbess Instruments and Systems, Inc. is responsible for managing the sales organization, developing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, and representing the sales team within the leadership structure. This role emphasizes sales performance initiatives, coaching team members, and ensuring sales goals are met while fostering a strong understanding of Abbess products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales organization and develop sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Grow Abbess customer base to increase order and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create effective sales plans and strategies.
  • Lead the sales team in hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Define and implement post-sales processes for continuous improvement.
  • Regularly report on sales performance and forecast sales pipeline.
  • Work with internal sales operations to identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth transition of orders to the engineering department after receipt.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and other departments as needed.

Requirements

  • Technical sales experience, preferably in Abbess product space.
  • Deep understanding of CRM software and Excel or other key customer data tools.
  • Knowledge of post-sales customer success tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills for managing customer relationships.
