About the position

As a Full Time Sales Manager at Carter's, you will serve as the first face of the brand for growing families, playing a crucial role in their parenting journey. Your responsibilities will include congratulating new parents and grandparents, introducing them to our new baby essentials, and helping them prepare for significant milestones such as the first day of school. Responsibilities

  • Become a product and brand expert to assist families from preemie to size 14+
  • Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits
  • Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers
  • Lead and develop a team to optimize their skills and talents
  • Educate the team on product knowledge and customer service best practices
  • Ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards and is well-stocked
  • Drive sales and achieve store goals through effective leadership and customer engagement

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new product knowledge
  • Experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not required

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a retail management role
