About the position

Latapult is seeking a talented Sales Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. You will leverage your understanding of our technology and sales techniques to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and contribute to our overall sales strategy. This role is crucial for the success of our tech sales team, and we are looking for someone who is driven and strategic in their approach. As a Sales Manager, you will identify and engage with potential clients through various channels including email, phone, and social media. You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of our mapping technology solutions and how they meet client needs. Your responsibilities will include qualifying leads and setting up meetings and demos for the sales team to close deals. You will build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and track progress using CRM tools. Collaboration with marketing and sales teams will be essential to refine messaging and outreach strategies. Additionally, you will analyze market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for business growth, while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and opportunities for upselling.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in tech sales or business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Hubspot) for managing leads, tracking sales activities, and reporting.
  • A results-driven attitude with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of GIS applications in various sectors like Real Estate, Land Development or Site Selection.
  • Experience in Real Estate or Land Acquisition.
  • Experience in managing long sales cycles and complex sales processes.
  • Willingness to stay updated with new GIS technologies and sales strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to provide strategic solutions to client challenges.
