About the position

The Sales Manager at WonderWorks is responsible for driving group sales and fostering relationships within the community to enhance the business's success in group bookings. This role involves managing customer relationships, generating new business, and representing WonderWorks at various events and expos. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while ensuring a fun and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the group sales portfolio through calls, emails, site visits, and other outreach.
  • Generate new business to increase ticket sales and group bookings.
  • Attend events and expos as the face of WonderWorks to increase company exposure.
  • Manage customer relationships at various points throughout the sales cycle.
  • Complete route visits for niche markets and attend off-site events promoting marketing programs.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs.
  • Time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Education in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous hospitality or themed entertainment experience is preferred.
