About the position

The Sales Manager at WonderWorks is responsible for driving group sales and fostering relationships within the community. This role involves managing customer relationships, generating new business, and representing the company at events to enhance visibility and sales. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while ensuring a positive experience for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the group sales portfolio through calls, emails, site visits, and other outreach.
  • Generate new business to increase ticket sales and group bookings.
  • Attend events and expos as the face of WonderWorks to increase company exposure.
  • Manage customer relationships at various points throughout the sales cycle.
  • Complete route visits for niche markets and attend off-site events in a company vehicle promoting marketing programs.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Ability to anticipate guest needs.
  • Time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently while making ethical decisions.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Education in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications or similar fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous hospitality or themed entertainment experience.
